Tunics and Bloomers -- cuteness oh my!
Sweet little criss cross tunics and the Susie bloomers. My girls are actually too big for the bloomer pattern but I improvised to upsize a bit because they love bloomers better than shorts. And who am I to tell them otherwise?? I mean how long will they be willing to wear such sweetness? Fabrics are Michael Miller and the tunic is reversible with use making a headband and a pair of bloomers to match each side of the reversible top.
Mother's Day...
My mother's day is never overly mothery. That is simply because it gets a little buried in my daughters birthday. She is 7 this year. Child came extremely close to losing her birthday all together and getting no gift at all. She actually helped make her gift weeks ago lol. Cause I am sneaky like that. But she also helped package it and put it in the shelf like we do any other doll I am listing in the store. She was sooooooo excited when she found out it was hers to keep.
Now for mothers day. I did get cards... well the girls made cards. Kheagan being that she was turning 7 has a more standard approach to card making but also does fast and simple as her always theme. This is my LAZY schooler as well. She has by far been the most difficult to teach because she believes in the bare minimum always.
Now Korah on the other hand..... that one believes in details. Bare yes-- minimum no... I think it may be time for the 4 year old to do a class in abstract art.. She is all about realism though but damn girl.. help a woman out... I think we can fake a lift in pictures.
All in all the weekend went well. But don't forget... this sale that started ONLY runs through the 25th.
