Then I built another...

And thanks to my trusty helpers painted everything in the process of painting them.

What little lady isn't a shopkins fan?

Hopefully she isn't too bothered by my crappy hand embroidery work on the cookie pillows but that's not my best skill at all.

NOW - for the details. The plans for these cute little beds that basically ANYBODY can build. I mean seriously let your daughter build this. Or have your son build it for your daughter if looking for a good homeschool wood shop project.

The ANA WHITE website has detailed plans and instructions.

What is that you may ask? ok you know its a merry go round. That's an early Christmas gift because where the hell was I suppose to hide a merry go round?? And getting it delivered closer to Christmas wasn't going to be possible. Took a lot of looking to find a smaller version. This still holds children up to 12 years old only it is only rated for 4 kids where as the larger ones hold many more children. BUT they also cost a shit load more and take up a ton of yard space. I finally found a nice reasonably sized 4 foot one at this online retailer. We went with the simple 4 foot one.

Poke-Jacket

Jackets aren't the easiest sewing project but they don't have to be the hardest either. This pattern by Puperita is very simple to put together. Fully doable for a seasoned beginner sewer. I used beautiful 95/5 cotton lycra custom knit prints for the exterior and a nice weight interlock from Chez Ami for the interior. Chez Ami closed up shop last year and I snagged a large amount of solid interlock for amazing prices. The particular jacket is a Christmas gift for the same little guy getting the Pokémon shirt in the previous post. It's a set :)

Not enough hours in the days!

There just are NOT!. It's basically impossible to do everything in a day I really need to. But, I simply do as much as I am able and let it roll from there. Today at 6 weeks 4 days of pregnancy the Nausea is kicking in. OMG I feel like I might barf... ugh

I did some sewing for an awesome little dude's birthday and Christmas today. I still have more sewing to complete for him then some building and sewing for his sister but all will get complete. On time too! One way or anther lol.

Then - I hit kohl's today too. And I found a great buy! Gotta love sales and coupons and YesToo rewards from other purchases.

Then after ALL that-- the real fun! A mini photo shoot in Knoop Park with a lovely couple to finish off their pictures for fall. You can see their session on FACEBOOK.
